switched lights and receptacles
I have a single switch controlling 2 lights and 2 receptacles. 2 cables come into the switch box, with both black attached to the poles of the switch and the whites are wire nutted together. Single cable comes into the first light fixture, attached to this cable are wires to power the light, a cable down to the outlet receptacle, and a cable to feed power over to the next light fixture.
That fixture has the single cable coming in that feeds the light and connects to a cable that leads down to the receptacle. How do I leave the lights switched and have the receptacles powered full time?

If you only have black, white and bare wires in the junction boxes, you'll have to replace the existing 14/2g cables in the wall with new 14/3g cables to achieve that goal. You would use 12/3g if this is a 20A circuit.
If you have red wires in there, please post back with more details as you might be able to make it work.
