My wife is dealing with the electrician and is just waiting for him to call with the bill. He sure is in no hurry it seems. I will definitely be back to post.
I plan on going to the condo this weekend to verify the work was completed.

Well it's a week late but the electrician finally dropped by and presented the bill. I did drop by the condo to verify that the heaters worked. Any last minute guesses on the bill?

Only ten days left until closing.

Hmm 3 hrs then another visit to replace the wire?

Lets say 5 hr total? I'll guess $80 an hour plus mat'l.

So..$407.83

Close but low. The final bill including tax was $637.39 that included three visits and what I can see included three visits to the condo. Only about $25 was for parts. Sounds like a lot of $$ but it's done, the heaters work, and that satisfies the buyers work orders. Please keep your fingers crossed that all goes well.
I will be back to pick your brains on my own electrical issue, that I have had for 17 years. You may be the spark, no pun intended, for me to finally fix it.
Thanks for all your help.

Awww I didn't know there were 3 visits! I would have gone to 7 hrs if I'd known that. lol Then I would have been closer at $567.83.

Course I'm probably high on the hours and low on the rate.

Well, what do I win? I think I was still closest, and didn't go over...the rules are like Price is Wrong, right? lol

How about a one night, no expense paid vacation in the condo before settlement. That way you can check out the work!
