Question Lights and B/R fan come on and off on their own

A customer I communicated with today says various items (switched bathroom fan and various ceiling lights throughout the house) come on and off on their own. I asked him if the lights are varying at all in intensity. He responded that he wasn't sure but they might be. I will ponder this a bit tonite, before heading to his house tommorrow. Any clues would be appreciated. Thanx "gang"

How old is this house? Perhaps it is haunted! Ghosts have a real hard time in houses that pre-dated electricity. I wouldn't go in there alone!

Sounds as if a main energized lug is loose, or more likely the grounded lug is loose. I believe I'd start in the panel before spreading out.
