Help Please

Hi guys
its bin a long time and I cant remember the RULE of electrial.
I have a heater I want to install in my garage. the spec plate
on the heater says (volts AC / 60 HZ / 480) 10 / Kilowatts
Phase 3 (Motor - VAC / 480 AMP / .22 Controls VAC / 24)

I have 200 AMP sevice or the maine braker says 150. do I need
to run a 120 service or 220 I know this sounds stupid but I forgot how to determen the phase.

Do you have 480 VAC 3 phase available in your garage? If the answer is no, then you can't use the heater unless you buy a 3phase converter.

480V three-phase is only available in large commercial buildings. The heater won't work on your single-phase residential service.
