main panel for garage

I built a detached garage not sure what amp panel and size wire. The run is about 45' and its a residential garage nothing crazy. I have a small compressor and welder and 220v heater along with basic lighting and receptacles. Im thinking 60 amp would be fine. Any suggestions?

Depends on the specs of the welder and the wattage of the heater. Details are everything.

Is there a nameplate on your welder? Is it a TIG, stick welder? It should list the welder's input amps.
