Installing an outside flood light

I want to install an outside flood light but have a question about how to run the wire. I plan on adding a switch to an existing 2 switch outlet. Can I just pigtail off one of the existing switches or do I have to run the line back to the circuit breaker?

Depends on the wires in the box. If ithey are switch loops, no, because there is no neutral. Note: In the case of switches all white wire aren't neutrals. Give us all the wires in the box and how they are connected. If you have three cables into the box and the whites of all three cables are wire-nutted together you may be able to do this but give us the wiring first.
