Washer/Dryer in front of sub-panel

Thanks for all the help with previous questions. You guys are a big help.

I am moving around my mudroom a little, and would like to change the location of my washer and dryer. I have a small sub panel in the mudroom that's about 4 feet up on the wall. I would like to put the washer or dryer underneath it. I know there are specific distances that need to be clear around a electric panel, just wondering if it applies to an appliance that can be moved out of the way.

Also is there any problems with running water and drain pipes in the same wall cavity as electric wires. The main panel supply runs down from above in the ceiling.

Thanks
Rob

Sorry, but you cannot put anything in the space 36" in front of the panel, in a space 30" wide, from the floor up. It doesn't matter if they can be moved out of the way.

There's no problem with pipes in the same cavity as wires, although there are problems with pipes above panels.
