Question Splicing together light sockets

Hi!
Been trolling and learning a bit, so I decided to ask a question:

I've got a few of these IKEA Hemma cords (with socket at the end) that I'd like to wire together and then attach to a ceiling socket:
IKEA | Shades, bases & cords | Bases & cords | HEMMA | Cord set ...

Any thoughts on the steps involved for this process would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums! Splicing the zip cords without enclosing them in an approved box won't pass muster. Just so we will know what your intent is.....just what is your intent? What are you hoping to accomplish?
