G4040MB1200 Load Center Breaker Problems

I can not get the QP Breakers to seat onto the bus bars in every other position in the lower right hand side of the box. All others work ok. It seems that the buss bar extends too far over and hits on the bottom edge of the breaker in just those locations. When I move the bar over some then the breaker on the other side is blocked. Is there another type of breaker that has a deeper slot that could be used?

Unforetally if you used duplex or quad breaker it will not fit in this load center at all due the key issue is the model number saying G4040MB1200 let me break the catalog number more clear

G mean G series it mean later model type

40 the first two digits mean the number of full size breakers.

40 is second two digits mean total space in the load centre

MB mean Main Breaker

1 mean Single phase

200 mean 200 amp rating

Hope that clear it up a bit

And you should not move the bussbar at all otherwise you may destory the support plate and insluatitor materals behind the bussbar.

Merci,Marc
