Low Volt Light wiring in wall

In wiring in cabinet lighting, I intend to run wiring in the wall.

I am aware that this needs to be NM, but I am unsure of what housing or box is required to join this back into the Low Volt wire attached to the lights.

(This is to pass a section without cabinets)

Thanks,
Justin

Low voltage wiring has far less restrictions then wiring over 50 volts. Splices are not required to be in a box. The cable you use does not need to be NM-B but does need to be a rated cable type for the location you are running the cable.
