What is the most common Plug type for in Hotel room A/C?

What is the most common Plug type for in Hotel room A/C in the USA and in the Middle East?

There are four types and I would like to know which one of them is the correct one:

1. 120V 15amp
2. 120V 20amp
3. 240V 15amp
4. 240V 20amp

Your help will be really apprechiated so much.

They are all pretty common in the USA, so is 240V 30A. I have no idea about the middle east -- it probably depends a lot on the specific country. UAE is a heck of a lot different place than Iran for example.

Hopefully a qualified electrician is doing this work, specially in a hotel.....

The type pf plug needed would depend on the size and voltage and amp level of the AC unit itself.Start with the AC and use the appropriate receptacle.

If this is a job where the idea is to set up the rooms for future ACs you'd need to ask the general contractor or hotel management what type and size etc ACs they were planning on installing.

The size of the plug will depending on the size of A/C plus electric heat if have there also heat pump verison however if you have 277 volts or three phase supply the in wall A/C unit are hardwired in USA side.

The European verison kinda toss up depending on which country you live so there is about half dozen verison.

In hotels I stayed at in recent years (middle range chain hotels mostly), they use a mostly standard heater-A/C which uses a NEMA 6-30 plug.
