Red face Blower Motor

I purchase a used blower motor that I just want to
used as a fan in the garage. But I am not sure on how
to wired it, can you please help!
the motor has five wires one is: black, yellow, red, dark
blue and a green which is the ground wire.
I did find a cust. part no. 207166?
I will be connecting to 110 not sure which two wires to connect to make fan run?

Is there a name plate on the motor? What is the info on it? Is there a connection diagram on either side of a removable plate where the wires come out?

Unfortunately you are not giving enough information to be able to give you an accurate connection. Your blower motor is multi speed. Black is high speed, red is low speed, blue is usually med or med low and yellow is a speed often medium. Yellow can also be a connection to a capacitor.

At this point we do not even know what voltage the motor is but it is generally pretty common to have a white wire if the motor is 115 volts. You do not mention a white wire.

The OP hasn't logged in since the end of 2010. He's unlikely to read this.

That's right, the last post is over 2 years old. If anyone is interested though, he had an Emerson motor. Since that last post, Emerson sold their motor business to Nidek.
