New Outlet

I'm buying a new home. The great room has A frame catherdral ceilings and most of the wall space is closets or windows. There isn't much space for a TV so I'm considering a projector screen which will drop from about a 20 ft. high space. what do I need to do to install an outlet up there?

Welcome to the forums! The one thing you need is a source of power before you can install a receptacle up there. Getting the power source up there will prove formidable. "New home" is it finished, yet? Will the screen be near a chimney chase? Do you have any access to the cathedral ceiling from above?

You may want to look into Wiremold products. They make a lot of surface raceways and channels that are intended for retrofitting rooms for new AV equipment.
