10 ga wire

Can I tie two 12 ga wires together at both ends and use as a 10 ga wire?

Short answer is no, never. Minimum wire size for parallel is 1/0.

The long answer is also No. You must use #10.

Every answer between long and short is NO. You still will only have a 12 gauge wire.
