Grounding metal box extenders

When using a metal box extender on a grounded metal box, do you need to ground the extender as well? If so, how do you ground it? My question is referring to both box extenders and extension rings. If the answer is yes, I would assume you just use a grounding clip for the box extenders. For the extension rings, I am much more clueless if the answer is yes.

If the metal extender is attached to a grounded metal box, then there is no more grounding required. The extension is grounded by the screws attaching it to the box.
