Generator Inlet

Im installing a generator inlet. I have 2 questions.

1) Can I install the inlet inside a detached building (storage shed)? Will this avoid the need for a bubble cover?

2) Can I run the generator inside the storage shed to avoid exposure to weather? I plan on installing doors on both ends of the shed to ensure proper ventilation.

Yes, so long as it is protected from the weather.

I would suggest you extend the exhaust pipe outside according to manufacturer's recommendations. Whether you can actually put it inside and requirements depends on local building and fire codes.
