Question

Several Years back I purchased a Motion Detector Security Light at Pay-N-Pak during their closeout. It is UL listed and imported by Ampac Industries. Alas, the wiring instructions are missing. The only odd thing is the motion sensor has three leads: Black, White and Red.

In researching I found timers that use the red to connect to the Hot for lights. Is the timer/light sensor the same?
i.e. the red goes to the Hot (black) lead for the lights, while the black from the sensor connects to black from power source?

Any assistance is appreciated.

Yes black to black and white to white bewteen the sensor and the power cable. Now add the white of the fixture to the other two whites. Then connect the red of the sensor to the black of the fixture.

Good Luck
