I am replacing floresent lights in my bathroom every month on so. I have this type of lighting in my kitchen and in another bath and the lights last for months or even a years. Can you tell me why only one set of lights have to be changed so often and how can I fix this problem?

hello sonny,
most common cause for frequent bulb burn out is loose connections, eather on the wireing or the sockets, check all the connections on this fixture and make sure they r tight. another cause can be bad connections in the bulb socket itsself, if the bulb is loose in the sockets replace the sockets, i have found on the cheaper units more then once that the sockets didnt make good contact with the bulb.

IF what sparky suggests fails try changing the ballast in that flourescent fixture. Commonly these ballast get weak over time and the new bulbs will work for a short time then the problem reappears.

Good Luck
