Lamp flickers when ceiling fan is turned off by switch

Recently I installed a new ceiling fan. I noticed over the weekend when I turn the fan off at the wall switch, the lamp plugged in the wall flickers for a brief second. Any suggestions on why this is happening. They both are on the same breaker, and I did have to get help on this forum to hook the fan up due to it having three sets of wires instead of just two.

More and likely a faulty (loose) back-stab connection at the receptacle.

Open the receptacle box and move any wires inserted into the back of the receptacle to the screws on the side. If the wires are already under the screws be sure the screws are tight. Redo or replace any wire nuts in the box. Do the same in the switch box.
