12 volt adapter is overheating...
hi,
i added three 12 volt fans (the little ones used to keep desktop computer boxes cool) to a cabinet that holds my PVR and Apple TV, receiver and other A/V components.
I wired the fans in parallel to a 12 volt adapter and after about 5 minutes the adapter gets really really hot.
The adapter reads:
120 VAC 60HZ 8W
24 VAC 4.8 VA
I'm hoping someone can tell me which adapter I should be using to solve this problem.
thanks
