Looking For 1 hour Timer.
I'm looking for a timer that will work accurately from from 1 minute to one hour. I'd prefer one of the mechanical kind but will consider electronic.. I've been Googeling but no luck. Maybe using wrong terms. Prefer a Jbox mounted one. Noe the catch 1600 watt minimum. I have a table top roaster oven and I want to rig it to cut off automatically by putting the receptacle* on a timer. Now the really big catch under $20.

Thanks chandler but too complicated. Just looking for something to set between one and 60 minutes to turn off my table top oven when cooking is done. That is why I suggested a mechanical timer with a dial you turn.
Edit: Well my question popped up a Light timer video in the right frame that mentions a Leviton that electronic but the choices are 5 minute intervals and I want one minute intervals.

Found what I needed.
Now I have a question. The switch is 15a but only 1000 watt tungsten. How does 1000 tungsten relate to a resistive load. Is it 1::1? My restive load is 1425 watts.

I don't know if this (below) is accurate. 20% (5:1) seems awfully low. Other devices I found claim 80%. In any case, the 1425-watt pure resistive load will translate to about 12 amps. The relay is rated for 15.

concern ourselves with are tungsten filament. Tungsten filament lamps, when first
turned on, will draw an inrush current of 10-15 times of the steady-state current.
The inrush is similar to a motor load inrush and is caused by the cold filament in
the lamp. After the lamp filament has heated up, the current will drop to its normal
level. Most tungsten filament lamp load ratings are 20% of a resistive load."

Thanks Rick for the info on tungsten ratings. The timers are cheap. Will try one to see how it holds up. Might go Rube Goldberg and add a relay if it doesn't.

Nice, except I would have added a pulley so the timer could be right-side up. But this one is probably easier for the kids to reach.
