Pulse Start MH Ballast Kit question

The Schematic with the kit looks like this:

The Ignitor for the kit actually has TWO white wires, so I've wired it like this; the second White going to Neutral on the Cords Plug:

The Modified Schematic for further clarity:

Am I doing this right?

First Pulse Start MH Ballast I've dealt with.

NO!! The starter is on the secondary side of the ballast. You NEVER hook secondary to primary. That's a great way to inject 2500 volts into your house wiring. Just cap that lead off. I don't know why it's there, I've never seen a 4 wire starter before.

Briefly talked with the Manufacturer...

Finally got a hold of a warm body at the Manufacturer... they said what you did without explaining the inherent danger of the design...unish:unish:

They said "cap off the second white wire on the ignitor... it doesn't need to go anywhere"

So I'm hooked up for 240V... going to remove and cap the extra white wire from the ignitor.

A little tenuous at this point though...

Any way to check the set up with a Multi-Meter before taking it live?

Other thoughts before mounting, hanging and energizing?

Thanks for you assistance.
