Folding Wires Stove Receptacle
I would appreciate some guidance on how to fold the wires neatly into the box.
Not sure how much free conductor should be left. Local Code requires Ground on receptacle at 9 or 3 o'clock.
Thank you

I would leave 6 inches outside the box. Look at the range cord for placement of the ground prong. Turn the receptacle so the cord will make a bend in itself as the range is moved into position against the wall. If the ground prong is nearest the cord and the cord is connected to the range at the right rear, then the receptacle should be at that location with the ground to the left so the cord will have its fold to the left. Hope this helps.
For the rough-in, roll into a loop and place against the back wall of the box. Probably easier to do one wire at a time. Make the loops just small enough to fit in the box, no drastic bends.
