Ice Block Cutter
I just made an ice block cutter to make ice cubes using #22 AWG Ni60 and it seems to work, but I am skeptical if it will last for long because what I did was I simply connected the two terminals of our 220V home power source to the two ends of my wire to heat up and cut the ice blocks. There are no other electrical components installed for possible regulations of current and/or to save electric bills.
Could you please help me with a better design.

What you have done is create a really good way to get killed.
A live bare wire and working in water. Not the best plan.
