Is there a problem with running electrical near PEX used for heating?
I'm going to be running hot water baseboard heaters connected by PEX in a loop around the exterior walls of my basement. The baseboard heaters will be inside the room but the PEX will run through the stud wall. I also need to run 12-2 in a similar loop for receptacles. I know I can't have a receptacle above the baseboard heater but will there be a problem running wiring near the hot PEX? Am I allowed to cross the two or install a receptacle above in-wall PEX? I'm not sure how much heat the piping puts off but I don't like the idea of having heat near my electrical.
Thanks in advance for the advice and/or code specifications.

As long as the two aren't touching it should be no problem. Romex is rated for temperature up to 90C (194F), and your radiant heating system should be significantly less than that.
