Replacing a squareD QO circuit breaker.

I have a skinny two-pole circuit breaker that does not seem to be working. It has a little hook on the bottom. I need to replace it, but cannot get it out. Guess I dont know how. Tried pushing, pulling, and rocking, but no luck. Can anyone help?

Turn the breaker off and use the handle to push outward toward the side of the panel.

Loop a piece of wire through the handles and pull.
