4 prong to 3 prong dryer plug. Amana - Model #NED7200TW

Please help me! I am so confused. I have read several of the earlier posts and the owners manual concering this and the part that is giving me trouble is grounding part. I have the 2 hot wires and the center neutral wires connected. No problem. But coming from inside of the machine is a green wire that is connected to the back of the machine. Will this me alright to leave or do I need to add a ground strap also? I got this machine used so I do not see one. And if I need to connect one, is that a 10 guage wire that connects the neutral post to the frame of the machine??
Thanks in advance!!

If you are attaching a three-prong cord to this dryer, the green wire from inside the dryer gets moved to the center neutral (white) terminal along with the white wire.

If you are attaching a four-prong cord, both the green wire from inside the dryer and the green wire from the cord go to a screw on the metal frame of the dryer.
