Above ground conduit near pool.

I know that bellow ground electric lines can't be within 5' of a pool, my question is what are the requirements for above ground electric lines within PVC conduit?

I live in Tennessee and have an above ground pool.

Thanks,
Karl

I don't think there's a rule against a solid conduit as long as there are no openings in the conduit within 10' of the pool rim. A dedicated outlet for the pump motor can be closer if all conditions are met.

I would consider conduit above ground to be subject to damage from foot traffic and mowing. IMO a buried conduit is the correct way.
