Wireless doorbell buzzes - best options for replacement?

I currently have a Dimango wireless doorbell extender, which is about 12 years old. [The transmitter connects to my regular wired doorbell so I can hear the bell in a remote part of my house.]

The receiver/chime, which plugs into a wall outlet, buzzes constantly. I assume this is electrical interference of some sort - but I cannot identify where the buzz is coming from.

Is anyone aware of similar device that is less prone to this problem? I assume a digital unit - if they exist - would be less vulnerable to interference.

Thanks, in advance.

Because the "remote area" is technically in another building, and because the architecture and wiring of my home does not lend itself to cheap or easy retrofitting.
