Volume of old junction box

I have an old 2 gang junction box that is in a tight spot. I would rather not replace it, but I have no idea what the volume is.

It is this brown plastic / particle board and says Sylvania 2002 inside, but no cu-in readings or anything else.

It measures around 3.75 x 3 x 3 internal with no clamps, for a volume of 33.75 cu in.

However, my box fill adds up to 33.5, so I want to be sure before my inspection.

Any ideas on this? I've googled as much as I could and did not find this. For what it's worth, the box doesn't look that full, despite the calculation, so this is a pretty big box.

Thanks.

Is this a single gang or double gang box?

Dual gang box with two nailing fins. Almost fills the 2x4 cavity in depth (maybe a 1/4" to 3/8" gap from the back to the drywall on the other side).
