towel warmer

I just bought a towel warmer that plugs into the GFCI outlet (not hardwired). I want to mount it tothe wall. The instructions state that it is not to be mounted in a shower. Does the code state how far I should mount it from the stand up shower or can I mount it close enough that I can reach the towels from the shower?

thanks

As far as I know, the NEC gives no dimensions, it just can't be located in the shower. I'd follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Since the NEC only requires both switches and GFI protected receptacles to only to be outside the footprint of the tub or shower I don't see any issues.
