quick question. Wiring outlets with stranded wire
What is the preferred way to terminate stranded wire to receptacles. Should I use crimp on ring terminals or is looping the wire around the screw like you would solid wire fine. In my head I would prefer to use the crimp on connectors.

Unless you are rewiring the Taj Mahal, spring for better receptacles that have the back wired feature (as Justin mentioned)....not backstab, but back wire. It will cost you about $2.40 per receptacle, but makes wiring with stranded (or any wire) easier.

No Taj Mahal, just added 7 outlets to my unfinished basement using all pvc conduit, boxes, etc and pulled 12ga stranded to each box.
I will look for the back wired receptacles.
