Any Sparkies in the house

Is it just me or lighter colored outlets/switches are more prone to show color change than darker ones...

I have Leviton white which does not match their white screwless plates.
Light almond which does not match some of their other light almond stuff.

HELL, the same goes for Lutron. Both the 6 year old snow white & biscuit don't match the swatch color chips I am looking at.

I'm not sure, but I find that I must buy all of one job from one place. Seems like almond and ivory can vary a little from manufacturer to manufacturer. Haven't seen the white difference yet. Not so noticeable low on the wall, but around a kitchen backsplash it shows up pretty bad.

I haven't noticed that problem when all items are from the same manufacturer. Have you tried cleaning them? Where did you get the color chips?
