switch tests fine but only 6V when load applied

I have a bathroom fan switch that tests fine with a continuity tester but when a 120V load is applied, I'm only getting 6V out of the switch. Is the switch bad?

With the 120V load applied and the 6V at the switch, I test the load at the fan and I show nothing. If I pull the leads off the switch and short them together, I get 120V at the fan.

Should I replace the switch?

From your results that is what I'd try first.
