Hot/ground reverse on a switched outlet circuit when in on position
I have an outlet which is wired to a wall switch which is working fine. When the switch is in the on position the two outlets between the wall switch and the switched outlet go to hot / ground reverse. When the wall switch is in the off position all outlets test correctly. Any ideas on why the change in polarity due to the switch position? I've checked my neutral connections and they appear OK on the outlets so I'm a little lost.

Welcome to the forums!
No, not without additional information. We essentially need to be able to see what you're seeing to help you effectively.
You say that there are
Can you tell us how many cables enter the switch box and each of the three receptacle boxes, what color wires are in each cable, and how they're connected?

In addition to Nashkat's requests do you have a multimeter. If you are using a plugin receptacle tester you will need something more accurate such as a multimeter to get more definitive results. The receptacle tester can be fooled by some conditions.
