runing a cable to water pump

Hi guys Im planing to make a sub panel I want to put a water pump but it is far away from main panel about 200ft can somebody tell me what kind of wire do I need it will be underground want to get 220 volts. forgot to say the pump will be 4'' and 100ft deep. Ty for help on this one.

We would need to know the amperage requirements for the pump.

Also needed will be anything else you may want to add to that sub panel now or in the future. The wire size is based on what actual load is.

6 wall plugs no voltage

I measure 118 volts from hot to ground 118 volts neutral to ground 0 volts hot to neutral. any thoughts. My wife was blow drying her hair when all went south. I've removed the gfci that i thought blew, but still nothing.

light switch controls evrything. need help

hello new to this forum, wondring if someone can help me? I have a house that was built in 2008, and I live in Ontario, Canada. The 1 room that I am trying to figure out is killing me. When the light switch is turned off, there is power to the wall receptacles (4 in all) but they all read OPEN HOT. But when the light switch is on, there is no power to the receptacles at all, but the light on the ceiling is on. Sounds confusing. Also, I went to plug a tv in the same room, turned on the light switch and it started to flicker every 10 secs. I would love to solve any of this. Bye the way, I'm a novice when it comes to electrical. Thanks
