wiring 220 pond airator
hi there i have a airator that floats in your pond or lake on pontoons to agitate and airate the water. i have never had it hooked up before but it has three wires with what i guess is a capacitor hooked to two of them.i was hoping to be able to plug it into a drier outlet thus making it portable. most places it would go have a drier outlet within a few hundred feet. but i see the drier is four wires. is there any way this could be done. thank you.

More information would help us answer your question. In fact, if you could post a picture or two showing your aerator, it's nameplate with the electrical information, and maybe the plug and the capacitor, that might be very helpful. See How To Put Pictures In Your Post.
