From range to cooktop plus oven

Hey all,
I'm reno'ing my kitchen and as part of the upgrade I'm switching from a standard range to an induction cooktop and convection oven. My question regards the wiring for them. I currently have a 40amp breaker with a #8 wire (8/3 + gnd). Can I branch from the current outlet to supply the new appliances without having to change the wire or breaker? The new appliances are as follows:
Cooktop - 2-3.2kW elements, 1-1.8kW element, 1-1.4kW element (9.6Kw total)
Oven - 5.1kW

If I do need to add a breaker, can I use the 8/3 40amp for the cooktop and add __________ for the oven? Or do I need to use the 8/3 for the oven and add _________ for the cooktop? It's about a 50' (15m) run from the kitchen to the breaker panel.

Thanks,
Rene

These appliances need to be on separate circuits. The 40 amp breaker should be adequate for the oven. Check the installation manual for the cooktop to see if a 50 amp or 60 amp breaker is recommended.
