Im Wiring a basement bathroom and I woul like to find out if it is safe to put a vent fan and two lights on the same circuit. I would also like to know if I need GFCI protection on all my outlets in the basement because IM on a concrete floor. Thanks for any advice on the subject.

Q: I would like to find out if it is safe to put a vent fan and two lights on the same circuit.

A: If this is the only thing on the circuit, then certainly yes. Actually yes even if these are not the only things on the circuit (but you need to calculate the total load to avoid tripping the breaker).

Q: I would also like to know if I need GFCI protection on all my outlets in the basement because I'm on a concrete floor.

A: Yes, if the basement is unfinished. No, if the basement is finished (except "yes" in any unfinished areas, and in your bathroom of course). Of course, if you want to, you can put GFCI everywhere in the basement (except to your sump pump).
