How do I lower speed of fireplace blower

We have a Grizzly insert and the current blower has a 3-speed switch. What I want to accomplish is to lower the speed of the LOW setting even further.

The LOW speed is still pretty fast and noisy, if I can reduce it by about half or so then we won't get roasted as much.

What can I install to safely reduce the speed, where to connect? Something I can pick up at HD or similiar?

Blower is an AO Smith 9471 (Fasco B47120)

Wire colors are BLK, BLU, RED, WHT

Your motor only has 3 set speeds so changing to a lower speed by rewiring the motor is not an option. Changing the 3 speed switch with a motor speed control is your best option. The home stores might have these near the exhaust bath fans, (be sure to check all the rateing info to be sure they are the proper control for the motor) but another option is Grainger. Search "Fan speed control"

You can restrict the air outlets to get the air flow that you want. Unfortunately this will not slow or make the motor more quiet.
