Vizio TV fuse replacement

New here

I am trying to fix a Vizio plasma TV. It needs a new fuse.
The fuse it needs is a 5x20mm 5A 250V time delay ceramic fuse. It also needs to be soldered to the board. The problem is I need to finish it this week and I can't find a correct fuse locally. However, I can solder an inline type fuse holder to the board and use a 1.25" ceramic fuse of the same rating.

Would added resistance of a fuse holder make any difference?

It should not make a difference. Do you know why the fuse blew. That would be the real concern.
