Dacablue Box to save energy

Dacablue Box to save energy

Has anyone heard or have installed one of the Dacablue boxes that supposes to save energy?

Can you give us an on line link to what specifically you are referencing? Too much pops up in a quick search to be sure what you mean.

If so, then save your money. I am unaware of any utility that meters power factor on a residential service.

That's the one. The manufacture claims to save 30% of your residential bill based on all of your appliances that have a motor. (A/Cs, washer, fans, etc...)

Power factor correction is nothing new and can save on a commercial/industrial account with larger 3-phase motors, but I don't think you'd see a difference in your residential bill.

You power factor is not going to be low enough for it to make any difference unless your running a company.
