Fancy Humidifier Died: Need help sourcing a resistor

It looks to my untrained eye, that the cooked resistor is the reason why my humidifer quit working recently. Can someone help me source a replacement that I can solder back in there and get this thing working again?

Pretty interesting board. You're lucky. Most boards are only marked with a part number. This board has part number and value for resistors.

For example....
R2/473 = 47K or 47,000 ohms
R3/ ????
R4/101 = 100 ohms

I can only magnify your picture so big. I need you to tell me what is after R3/
That resistor may not be bad. It's definitely been baking for a while.....usually due to undersizing.... or overloading. If you have an ohmmeter.....check it on Rx1 scale. That would appear to be a one watt resistor. You could put in a two or five watt and it wouldn't run as hot.

I loaded that pic in a different viewer.

It looks like it says: R3/20K1
That would be 20K ohm @ 1 watt

The following would probably work ok
Amazon.com: 20K Ohm 1W Flameproof Resistor 10 Pcs.: Electronics

even better
NTE Electronics NTE2W320 Resistor 20K Ohm 2W Metal | 2W320 | NTE Electronics

Yup, you read it right -- 20k1.

THANKS SO MUCH! My dry nasal passages are particularly pleased at the prospect of getting this humidifier running again!
