Receptacles dead after breaker tripped & reset

I had a breaker trip after overloading a circuit. After resetting the breaker all of the receptacles on the circuit have no power. I checked all of the CGFIs in the house and none are tripped.

What next?
Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

On that circuit......is ANY receptacle working ?

If no.....you'll need to check breaker for output first.
If that is ok..... you'll need to go to the closest receptacle (that's on that circuit) to the panel to see if that is live.

Don't use a non contact tester to check for voltage. Use a test light, multimeter, or a solenoid tester (wiggins).

Did you turn the breaker all the way OFF before turning it ON?

Oops! Found the culprit. A GFCI that was hidden and I didn't know existed. It was tripped.
Sorry for taking up your time on something so simple.

GFCI outlets don't trip on overload. If you are sure the breaker tripped on the suspected overload, you may still have another problem.
