240V arc fault breaker?

We plan to add 2 bedrooms with permanently installed electric beaeboard heaters. The code says 120V circuits have to be protected by arc fault breakers.
Our baseboard heaters will be using 240V. Do we have to use 240V arc fault breakers?

National code does not require it but check with the local Authority Having Jurisdiction.

The 240 volt units do not require AFCI protection under the NEC.
