Load Center Generator Interlock
Hello,
I'm trying to find a Load Center Generator Interlock for my Siemens Load Center G2020MB1100CU.
Does anyone know of an alternative to the $150. kits sold by Interlock?
I need their K-1510 kit.

P.S. Will the Siemens ECSBPK04 interlock kit fit my load center?

For use on Ultimate and Rock Solid
load centers 125 amp and lower to
connect the main breaker to a 2-pole
circuit breaker.

$150 would be cheap for a method of safely switching the power feed from the power company to a backup generator, if it worked and was U.L. listed for the application.
Why are you trying to install an interlock instead of a transfer switch or a transfer panel? How did you determine that the Interlock K-1510 is the one you need?
Most importantly, does your local jurisdiction permit the installation of aftermarket interlock kits?
