A.C theory help!!!!

1) A sinusoidal waveform has a peak voltage of 340V at a frequency of 50Hz.
Calculate the:

(i) r.m.s. value
(ii) periodic time

(i) r.m.s. value Vpeak x 0.707 = Vrms or 340v x 0.707 = 240.38
(ii) periodic time

^^ sounds about right to me. Hey, he might be studying for a ham test or something. Not blatantly cheating on schülwerk

But Kris, you may want to select a forum closer to home. We're on 60Hz over here and have conquered communism. At least we did at one point,

sorry, i am not in a test rite now..
i have an electrical exam next week friday so i am doing past paper questions and this was 1 of the questions in it.
