AC/MC Adapters and Reducers... what options do I have?
I think the picture speaks for itself. YES, I'm here with older equipment again (immediate postwar) but I figure this shouldn't be too problematic.
There is an OEM control box for the ventilator at the other end of the AC, no problems there. My problem is at this end... there is a split-ring clamp, but it is not the right size to clamp the cable.
3/4" EMT will fit the fan end, but I don't know why I would need to use that instead...

Bring the armor cable into a single-gang box wit the correct sizing for both it and the fitting on the device? Just a thought. Or, look for a pipe fitting as a reducer from the tool to something that can clamp on to the armor cable...

Can you disconnect that metal armor cable.....looks like BX ?
Install a 3/4" threaded coupler and then use a 3/4" to 1/2" reducing insert. Then you can put on a proper 1/2" connector
