outlets/average

Hi ,im wiring outlets to 2 large bedrooms, have arc fault breaker.I know there is no actual nec regulation on # of outlets per circuit but on average for a 20 amp breaker how many outlets , max, are commonly installed for 2 bedrooms ?

Rule of thumb is 180 volt/amps (watts) per outlet. So for a 20 amp circuit that would be 13 outlets.

The amount of receptacles per bedroom(s) would depend on the wall space and the 6/12 rule.
