SJO wire in electrical panel?

Hello all I'm new to this forum. Read through a few threads and couldn't really find an answer to my question. Basically I'm replacing a wire from my power inlet box(relocating the box by a few feet) and I have 10 ga 4 wire in my garage I can use. Is there an issue by running SJO wire directly to the breaker panel since SJO is stranded wire and all?

Yes indeed there IS an issue. Type S (and any following letters) is NOT approved for permanent wiring.

Ah. Was 99.9% sure it was a code issue. Not the best idea probably anyway. I'll go out and spend the $$. Thank you sir
